Hollywood Style is a great original style of Lindy Hop that was danced in many Hollywood movies of the 40s and 50s. It was made popular by Dean Collins and his partner Jewel McGowan.
Collins learned to Lindy Hop at Harlem's Savoy Ballroom and created this distinctive and attractive style which significantly influenced swing dancing back then and now.
Smooth, energetic dancing, swiveling girls, and hot swing music create a recipe that’s hard to resist. Nowadays this swing style is broadly known as “Hollywood Style”.
